The Ginever Alliance Certification Authority is the part of the Ginever Alliance which is responsible for dealing with digital certificates and signatures. The current root certificate is named Ginever Service Alliance Root CA and expires on Dec 31, 2049. Prior to the formation of the Alliance, the Certification Authority was known as the Dennington Family CA and used a different root certificate.
Digital certificates from the Ginever Alliance are used to secure HTTPS websites and DSP servers. They are also used to digitally sign programs that are released by the Alliance.
